Galaxy's Edge

Star Wars 4 - A New Hope
Hollywood Studios, Florida, USA

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is an immersive themed land inspired by the Star Wars universe, with two identical locations: one at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, and the other at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. Both locations transport you to the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, featuring iconic attractions, dining, character encounters, and shops.

Location & How to Visit

Disneyland (California): Located in the northwest corner of Disneyland Park, between Frontierland, Critter Country, and Fantasyland. There are multiple entrances, with one near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Frontierland), one near Critter Country (best for accessing the Rise of the Resistance attraction), and one at the boundary of Fantasyland. Access requires a valid Disneyland Park admission and a theme park reservation.

Disney's Hollywood Studios (Florida): Situated in the southeast section of the park, with main entrances from Grand Avenue and Toy Story Land. A regular Disney’s Hollywood Studios admission and reservation are required.

Main Attractions and Experiences

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – Pilot the iconic ship on a motion-simulator ride.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – An advanced, large-scale attraction placing you in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order.

Build a custom droid at Droid Depot, construct a lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop, enjoy themed food and drink at Oga’s Cantina and Ronto Roasters, and interact with Star Wars characters that roam the land (appearances are unscheduled; there are no formal meet-and-greets).

Exclusive Star Wars merchandise, photo ops, and immersive environment settings create a fully realized “galactic” streetscape.

Practical Visiting Information

Hours follow the operating schedule for the main park (Disneyland or Hollywood Studios), so plan around your broader visit.

Both locations can get crowded, especially for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Early arrival is recommended.

To visit, book your theme park tickets and make a reservation for the desired park through the official Disneyland or Disney World site.

Restaurants, shops, and certain interactive experiences may have separate queues, mobile ordering, or virtual line reservations.

Essential Tips

Book tickets in advance, especially for peak visiting seasons, and monitor entry policies as park reservation systems may change.

Dress comfortably for extensive walking and spending time outdoors; Galaxy’s Edge is a sprawling area.

For a full Star Wars immersion, consider themed dining or special after-hours events (if available) for reduced crowds and unique experiences.
